Condoms, diaphragms, spermicidal gel, birth control pills or patches, IUDs, the morning after pill...

My high school Sexuality book also claimed that the "pull out" was "100% ineffective", but I'd disagree.

There is something called to morning after pill... But I think that if you are dumb enough to lay down and allow yourself to get pregnant, then you should deal with the consequences and take care of that child... Its not fair to kill an innocent child just because you don't want it.. You never know what that child could grow up to be, they could be the next president of the united states for all you know, they could even cure cancer... I think you should give them a chance at life and let them be a functioning member of society.. They deserve that much...

There are patches that can be worn or you can have a three monthly injection. There are also birth control bills. There is also a Dutch cap which works with a spermicide. None are completely reliable. You are wise to think about avoiding pregnancy - and a condom should be worn by the man to not only help prevent pregnancy but spread of disease.

Stopping the pregnancy and aborting the pregnancy are 2 different things. You can stop pregnancy by using birth control method. You can terminate pregnancy by use of medicine like cytotec or surgery.

If you had an accident and are afraid that you might become pregnant you can take the pill Plan B within 72 hours and it will prevent you from becoming pregnant. If you take it after 72 hours it won't work, it won't harm an already existing pregnancy. Anything after that would be either a miscarriage or abortion.
