The best way to get rid of a cold is to get plenty of rest. Try eating things like soup and crackers. Cold medicine can relieve the symptoms but will not get rid of your cold because a cold is a virus and you can't get rid of that with medicine. Also stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.If your cold does not go away within a week you should see your doctor.

I have a really bad cold and when I cough it feels like I can't breath and I have so much flem its not funny I want to get rid of it A.S.A.P. Cause it feels horrible and I'm starting to get really scared cause of all the flem in my throat

I just got over a cold that sounds really similar to what you have. It only took me 2 days to start feeling better. This is what I do. I take Zicam as soon as I start feeling a cold come on. It might be a little late for you to start it now but you can give it a shot and see if it helps at all. I drink a ton of green tea with honey and lemon. It helps my throat feel better and the honey is a natural antibiotic and the green tea helps your immune system. I eat only fruits and vegetables when I'm sick. It seems to help my body get better faster. Yesterday all I ate was carrots, an apple, an orange and some cucumber. I swear all the vitamins and minerals really will help you feel better faster. Also I try to drink as much water as I can and I take OTC medicines to help deal with the symptoms so I can sleep better.

Have some chicken soup or green tea. And rest, have a warm or hot bath. Make yourself warm.

Well iv got a very very very bad cold. I stay up most night / don't get a lot of sleep and with tht very bad cold I have got a terrible sore throat..... Can anyone give me advise plz I need help FAST OR A.S.A.P !!!
