If you started spotting about a week after your period then you could be pregnant but you could also just be stressed out. Stress can make your period late or even keep you from having one. You could have been stressed and not ovulated or you could have been stressed and not had one altogether. I suggest you take a pregnancy test my opinion, pregnancy symptoms are very similar to symptoms you get when you have your period (tender breasts/nipples, cramps, bloating, fatigue, mood changes etc.). The only way to find out is to take a test.
