Can Gallstones Cause Fatigue?

From my futile search in cyberspace, it looks like no. HOwever I have gallstones and gallbladder polyps along with some more minor digestive issues.  I have been dog tired for 6 weeks.

My stomach feeling is more like a liver thing, so is the fatigue.  I felt like this when  had hep A. Fatigue is a common symptom of liver issues. And from what I have read fatigue is not much of a symptom of gall bladder stuff.  But just because our symptoms don't seem to go with gallstones that doesn't mean they arent due to something else.

I believe it is critical to employ a dr who will take us seriously and find the roots of whatever problems we have and not blow them off. I suggest hiring a good dr and asking them as opposed to all the questionable material on the internet.

But one thing I think is that since liver and gallbladder are partners in producing bile and breaking stuff down and passing it through bile ducts could be that I have a clogged bile duct clogged by a gallstone or something else.  It backs stuff up into the liver and things are sluggish, therefore producing symptoms of liver function imbalance,

I am waiting for my liver panel tests to come back and will post an update when I find out. Hope this helped.

Well something is causing my fatigue!  I have looked for info on your question and can't find squat.  But If your wiped out and have gallstones you are not alone.  Still I am josh-in my adrenals checked and being tested for Mercury poisoning.  I looked up some stuff on Celiac disease contributing to gallbladder problems and fatigue but I don't have the other symptoms listed so thats not me.  Get a liver panel done.  YOur liver can get jacked with stones too and they can also clog up the bile ducts making you feel like you have hepatitis and causing a type of hepatitis as well.
I am assuming you have gallstones or think you do. My dr found mine on an ultra sound.
My dr says I will feel much better when I get this rotten sac of bile resistant globules out of my body.  Good god I hope so. My surgery is in a few weeks.
Sweet dreams! (Narcolepsy Rocks!!! Just josh-in'.)
