Its most likely not yeast....strong odor isn't typically associated with a yeast infection, while itching, burning and a thick/clumpy white discharge are. While until you see a doctor you will not be able to rule out STDs, I would be willing to bet that what you are experiencing is BV or bacterial vaginosis. You still need to see a doctor because you will need a prescription drug to rid you of this problem. While BV isn't considered exclusively a STD, it has been thought to be involved with sexual intercourse and if you continue to get this infection after you've treated it, some doctors will consider treating the male in the event that he may be a carrier of the bacteria, even if it does not effect him in any way. Good luck

It sounds like chlamydia to me. Or a possible bacterial infection. Your best bet is to see your normal doctor for a vaginal exam and test. A yeast infection has a cottage cheese like discharge but normally not much odor. But a bacterial infection presents its self with a seapy like milky discharge and odor. Consistent with chlamydia like symptoms. Either way, a doctors visit should be made. Good luck hon.

If it was chamydia you would have a yellow discharge, constant burning and burn/bleeding during intercourse so its most likely a bacterial infection which you can get from bubble baths, certain soaps, or wearing tight jeans even

My milky white discharge is thick and has somewhat of an odor. I take showers everday and douche like the box says to, but it still continues to discharge; even after me period. Whats wrong?

Hi, it could be a yeast infection. If I were you, I would just make an appointment to see my doctor. We all must stop having unprotected sex. I know it is hard to do, but we must try. Take care!

Ive noticed sort of the same thing recently and I have not yet got to my doctor.. My insurance is kicking back in again in about a week and I will have an appointment then. The problem ive been seeing had been a very think white discharge with a different odor.. Its not exactly "fishy" but just different smell from normal.. I have no itching or burning .. Just the discharge is different.. I notice it more when I'm having intercourse...
