There is a difference in having your tubes cut and tied or having them clamped. I had a tubuligation, ( cut and tied) over twenty years ago. That is a permanent thing so you are not likely to conceive after this procedure. It can be reversed through surgery. A friend of mine had hers clamped. The clamps came loose and she got pregnant. Why do the Drs. Say they are clamped? Did you have an ultrasound? I would check with the Dr. Who did your procedure to be sure.

Yes my tubes were cut, tied and burnt eight months ago after having my twins in October. Its now september and i just found out i'm pregnant! We thought i had the flu but sure enough i went to the obgyn and got a pregnancy test done and I AM PREGNANT. Now the husband is getting "snipped" and I'm getting an IUD.
The OBGYN said somehow my right tube somehow connected and repaired itself...go figure. If i get pregnant after this IUd, I'm calling myself the virgin Mary. This is ridiculous.
