The area of United States of America in square feet is 103671742065706.34375. But usually the area of any large piece of land is measured in square kilometers, so in the sense of the term, the area of the US is 9,631,420 square kilometers.

Situated in the North American continent the USA is the third largest country on earth after Russia and Canada. It also shares sea and land boundaries with these countries. The country extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean.

The estimated population of the country in the year 2006 is 300,146,697 and in terms of population also, it stands third after China and India. The country is also regarded as the oldest democracy in the world and second only to India in terms of the size of the democracy. However when it comes to economic prowess, the country is unmatched and the world's second economy Japan is far behind it.

No one uses kilometers for anthing in the U.S. Any large piece of land is almost always refered to in in square MILES, almost never in kilometers, if they did, most people would have no idea what that means; they would need to look it up in some book. This is total nonense; almost nobody uses meters in the U.S. For anything, maybe in science classes but in oridanry usage, miles and feet are Universal in the U.S. How stupid can this guy be??
