What Are The Bleach Stains In My Underwear?

No its nothing to do with urine. It is a mixture of a couple of things really. For one depending of the PH levels of your body, so say if it has too much acid, it tends to 'bleach' underwear through natural discharge. Also if you are dehydrated then the discharge becomes stronger and this also has the 'bleaching' effect on clothing. Unfortunately this is something that is unavoidable and will probably never go away. The best thing to do is just except it and use it as a good excuse to go out and buy new underwear, so save the good ones for 'special' occasions and the rest for everyday use. However if you do feel too embarrassed about it (which you shouldn't) I understand a lot of woman wear pantyliners to keep there underwear stain free, but I find this uncomfortable and a real 'ball-ache' so I don't bother. I hope this has helped you feel less embarrassed about the problem and answered the question.

I have had this issue as well, it went away, only had it a few times tho. Seems like my urine has a small to it-ammonia like smell. I drink a lot of water too, but even after I finish I still feel too wet, which is when bleaching happens. Drink lots of water and if anything talk to your doctor about it...they made panty liners that are super thing and I hardly even notice them!

I've had that same problem ever since I started my period when I was 12.

The best thing I can think of to do is to take a damp tissue and get rid of any discharge on your underwear as soon as possible.
I've been thinking about spot dying all of my already affected underwear.
I hope this helps.

Urine left over after relieving oneself decomposes to release ammonia. Ammonia is known bleaching agent. Most of times, the stink is due to ammonia and many other chemicals that are excreted out through urine. Try frequent washing after urination, will help reduction in stink and stains.

Panty liners are also one of solution , but I am afraid one may have to live with the stink and stains.

Ive been having issues for the past year since the birth of my beautiful baby!!  I felt as though I was having labour pains sometimes!  Just recently I discovered that my cervix had dropped.  Its been 2 months now since this issue was discovered & I'm still awaiting a Dr for options.  Over the past month ive noticed bleach type stains on my black panties, and the past few days I can't control feeling my body release urine EVEN after I just was in the ladies room.  :(

I have a theory that this bleaching occurs from bleached tampons. I did a little experiment and found that underpants I wore between periods didn't bleach, but those I wore during (while using tampons) caused a bleaching of the gusset. Can't find any proof online to back it up at this stage, but I reckon I'm right!

I do not use tampons so that kindof takes that out. But your PH levels are higher at that time so that is why you notice it at that tine.
