Go see a doctor ASAP. You might have an allergic reaction to something that person ate or it might be a contagious condition. In any case, you should find out before it goes away by itself (and IF). Allergic reactions are serious!

Your problem can not be diagnosed without a physical examination. Symptoms which you are indicating can be allergic reactions or oral herpes. Allergic reaction can be due to contact with allergen. Oral herpes is caused by a virus called herpes simplex which is contagious. Oral herpes affect lips, gums, tongue, inside of cheeks and throat. Its symptoms are burning, itching, tingling and pain followed by blisters.
Oral herpes can last for 2-3 weeks. In my opinion, you should visit a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
