Menstrual bleeding can be in the form of spotting, scanty or full flow. Whatever may the situation, normal periods should last for 1-7 days. Spotting can occur at mid of the cycle, start of the periods and at the end of the periods. Medically, spotting on due dates does not indicate any illness. You should free yourself from stress, drink plenty of water and take proper diet.
