I'm not a doctor but that would alarm me if there were no circumstances to warrant it.  Are you certain you're measuring it correctly.  A wrong size cuff or worse yet a wrist cuff that is not positioned exactly right could give you a false reading. There are a few auto cuff devices sold at places like Wal-Mart that can read correctly AND pick out anything like irregular heart beats as well.  I'd sure cut out the salts. It hides in cheese etc. Make sure you're not mixing improper meds or eating something you shouldn't with 'certain' meds. MOAI's (for depression) for example,  are a drug class that warn against the ingestion of certain foods and cheese or dairy products which can elevate both numbers. Surf for a list on the web. Hope you feel better

Reading back at your question I didn't exactly say yes or no. There are some web sites that offer a check list of symptoms that could help aid your decision making.
