Usually, ladies get one period in a month because normal cycle length is of 26-32 days. Few days up or down can also be considered as normal. But some ladies have more than one period in a month and this condition is called polymenorrhea. This can be due to hormonal imbalance, stress due to depression or anxiety or other psychological problems, work overload, malnutrition, pelvic inflammatory disease and frequent ovulation due to over activity of pituitary gland. So, periods after every 26-32 days are normal.
