Hey I'm a medical student and I know for a FACT that, that is true! Where are you getting your facts from? Huh? Take a crash course in medical school? I've actually studied the human backbone in a real cadaver, you? No? I didn't think so.

You did not mention your age, however, sleep can be used to increase height. Try not to get less than seven and a half hours of sleep each night. Apart from sleep, ensure that your diet includes sufficient
protein and calcium.

There are also stretches that you may do to grow taller. One is
to lie face down on the floor  with palms on the floor beneath your shoulders.  Arch your spine up slowly, leading with your chin.  Arch as far back as you can. Each repetition should last between 5 to 30 seconds.

Depends on your age. If you are a boy you will stop growing at 24 but if you are a girl, you will stop growing at 18. But true, growth is at its peak while you sleep.

Sleeping normally we need  8 hours per night if we have enough of sleep then it's good for the health for children they need it more than adult.
