Philip Seymour Hoffman overdosed on Heroin. Around 40 packets of it were found in his house (empty and nonempty ones), and 4 people were later arrested in relation to the heroin being there.
Hoffman had issues with various drugs, including heroin, in the past - so it looks like despite going to rehab, it caught up with him again.
Very sad.
