You should tell the doctor but I don't see why not. People take very strong prescription medication up to a few hours before surgery just be sure to tell the doctor what you took and exactly when.
I accidentally took alka seltzer plus cold 2 days ago. I have surgery in the morning. I am freaking out! I have been waiting forever! Will they still do the surgery?
