So how would they coordinate with States who have legalized Marijuana?  Wouldn't the feds have to prosecute users whose states have given them rights to buy and use if it's classified as dangerous?  Seems kind of conflicting.

They are so far behind the times it's unreal ! They still think it's the 30's ! What a joke. Probably just looking to get more funding for their failed "War on Drugs" !

I don't think that's a wise choice.

-Marijuana is a dangerous drug, sure, but it has many health benefits and it must be legalized due the purpose.

-This matter shouldn't be illegal like this, each state has their own rights to decide it for their people. It's like crossing the limits and forcing themselves down to America's throat. It's not good.

Totally health benefits with diseases and illness. the marijuana plant contains chemicals that may help treat a range of illnesses or symptoms, many people argue that it should be legal for medical purposes. i am agree with them.
Still the investment by scientists haven't been too vast. there are proof as well as different complications which makes FDA not to approve it as a medicine. but the fact is in many grounds Marijuana held it;s place as medicine and helped many people. diseases and disorders such as: autoimmune diseases (diseases that weaken the immune system): HIV/AIDS
multiple sclerosis (MS), which causes gradual loss of muscle control, Alzheimer’s disease, which causes loss of brain function, affecting memory, thinking, and behavior.
inflammation/ pain / seizures/ substance use disorders and
mental disorders. and many more i guess.

Dear Otis,

Marijuana is now legal here in Washington State, for recreational purposes. You will be driving along and see storefronts advertising it.

Do you know what that gov classification means for the Washington law? Will it change now?

Same, both are dangerous addictive and destructive behavior.

I think they did this because they consider marijuana to be a "gateway drug" because it rare people start harder drugs without starting with weed.

But I bet it's about money somehow...

I don't have anything else to offer as all these great answers have said it all.
