This is something that affects about three quarters of women during the early stages of pregnancy. However it's not uncommon for some women to get all the way to their second trimester without experiencing any of these symptoms.
In order to help combat the nausea try eating only high-protein foods and rather than eating three meals a day (or not eating at all), eat little and often. So have several small meals a day and avoid fatty, spicy or rich food as it may agitate your digestive system, try to stick it bland food only.
Taking prenatal vitamins before bed or drinking ginger tea has also been known to ease nausea.
This may sound obvious but the best remedie for tiredness is naps, if possible, try taking a few 20 minute naps a day.
There are other more costly methods of treating these symptoms such as; anti-nausea medications, massage or acupressure.

I'm about 8 weeks pregnant now and for the past 3 weeks I have felt sick all day everyday, it's horrible. I have had 3 other children and never felt as bad as this. I'm 28 and thinking is it because I'm that bit older? I can't cope with all this nausia anymore! Thank god I don't work because I don't think I would have a job by now. My house is a mess because I have no energy to do anything and I feel so sorry for my partner as he's been left to do everything. I'm seeing the doctor in the morning for the first time and hoping that he might ba able to give me some sickness tablets? Good luck to everyone that feels the same, I hope it passes by 12 weeks. All this is worth it in the end but I can honestly say I wont be doing it again! X

As for any advice on feeling better, I havn't got a clue. Nothing has worked for me. Someone recommended a drink which you can get from morrisons, it's called bottle green. It's ginger and lemon grass, comes in a lovely tall green bottle and tastes gorgeous, although it is quite expensive. I must admit it didn't work for me but try it, it might work for you x

Okay, for the stomach the thing that helped me was to eat crackers. I was only able to eat a little bit, but I would always accompany my food with cracker to make sure it all stayed down. I don't know of anything you can do about the tired feeling other than sleeping. At work I get two 15 minutes breaks and 30 minutes for lunch, and I would sleep on all my breaks. I liked lunch better because I was able to sleep longer. Talk to your boss and see if they could give you a break now that you are pregnant and allow you take nap breaks. It is normal to feel very tired because your body is working overtime making that baby. Also, when you are sleeping you are not doing anything that could harm the baby - see, the body is very smart. Hang in there, you will be feeling better within a few weeks.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and I don't have any symtom of sickness since last week. Thank GOD.!! But if you get nausea...just eat a lot of fruits and drink smoothies...cause the look of food makes me sick..thats the trick...if you have jamba juice or smoothie king close to you...go there get some because I barely want to eat food cause all of it makes me sick. I drink power punch plus everyday 40 oz and it have 1,000 calories and 20g in proteins and some calcium...this should be good for you in place of you can't eat real food since you feel sick.
I really hope you feel better..and dun stress too much..just relax..and eat small meal, drink a lot of water..eat a lot of fruits...and smoothies=)...I'm sure you will be fine...
Please give it a try, you will feel much better ,...

I'm 9 weeks pregnant too, so I totally understand how you feel. Nausea every day! Sleepy all the time! The suggestion about taking naps during the day at work is a great one, if you have an understanding boss. For the nausea, I don't know if this will work for you, but I try to listen to my cravings and eat whatever it is my body is demanding. If I have craving for strawberry yogurt, I have to eat that. If I try to eat a sandwich instead of the yogurt, my head will be in the toilet! So my body forces me to eat just what it wants because it will digest it and not come back up. Thankfully, my cravings have been healthy. So try that. The next time you have a sudden urge to eat a salad with lots of ranch dressing, DO IT!!! :-)

I'm 9 weeks pregnant as well and I do the same, I dont eat anything unless its something that I crave! I have to eat a very small amount at the time or I will be so sick. I think my husband is getting a little frustrated with me because I dont sit down and have a regular meal anymore. Im soooo ready to eat normal again!!

OH, so ill. I can't believe it. My first pregnancy was bad, but this is unbearable. I'm so tired but I can only sleep for 2 hours before I wake up with a gargling stomach. I vomit 2-3 times a day, sometimes its food, sometimes its nothing. I don't get it. I'm taking zofran, it worked at first but now its only mildly comforting. It gives me such bad constipation though, so bad. My saliva is so thick and ropey that if I swallow it, it gags me. Yes, that means that I frequently have to expectorate in public. Even smokers look at me like I'm the one who's disgusting for spitting on the ground. I am so excited to have another child but this is REALLY putting a damper on that! I'm just hoping that it doesn't last until week 20 like last time. I can't do this for 11 more weeks.

Hey try chewing gum when you feel sick to your stomach... I learned that from a friend of mine. I tried the cracker thing and eating small meals but nothing worked for me. I thought my friend was crazy when she told me to chew gum but I had nothing to lose. So I went to the store bought my favorite flavored gum (one that wouldn't make me sick) and tried it. Oh my god!!!! It worked instantly and amazingly. My morning sickness went away in 2 weeks... I don't know if the gum had anything to do with it, but doesn't hurt to try!

I am about 9 weeks preg also and I too am feeling sick in my stomach ALL day and feel tired constantly.  My husband and I are arguing a lot because I am soo tired and cranky...This is my third child and I must have gotten off easy with the first two because I did not feel like this with them.  I have had NUMEROUS suggestions...one is eating peppermint candies or lemon drop candies.  Another is sleeping on your side.  Another is eating crackers...I wish something would work...

Ladies I'm 9 weeks pregnant too and am feeling this whole thing so bad I'm starting to wonder if I have twins! Morning, noon, night sickness every day. Doctors say things get better after 12 weeks! (wishful)
I look at my two boys and can only smile how easy it is to forget that one had to go through so much pain in order to see them. And here I am third time round.. Still forgetful :-) only because they are soooo worth it!
Good luck to each one of you

Hi I am 9 weeks pregnant as well. I only get sick when I try to eat to much, but it seems like I am hungry all the time. Aren't you? I feel really tired though to like my eyes could shut automatically any second.
About the nausea, I don't know if gum or crackers work, but try eating a little bit at a time that might help. I also heard fruit might help. As far as being tired just take naps on the weekends you know to get some rest in. I'm so busy during the week between work and house work that I don't get to nap, but I do recline in my couch about 7 o'clock and relax for the rest of the night.
