Probably not. Tomatoes are a high Potassium food.  The kidneys regulate how much
potassium is allowed into the blood stream.  Renal Dieting would
dictate that one avoids tomatoes in any large quantity, as the kidney's
inaction may allow the bloodstream to contain too much potassium.  High
levels of potassium can lead to circulatory problems, specifically
irregular heart beats and even cardiac arrest.

Speak to a doctor to develop a dieting plan, so as not to lose track of Potassium intake.
