The early symptoms of pregnancy usually begin after five or six weeks after conception. Missing the first period after conception maybe the first sign of pregnancy. Yet the onset and the extent of pregnancy symptoms differ with every woman. There are many who may have these symptoms within days of conception while some others have it after a few weeks while some others can get away with no discomfort at all.

Many of the symptoms are similar to that faced by women during menstruation such as sore breasts, tiredness and giddiness. Pregnancy also causes symptoms like nausea, vomiting bouts, and dizziness. Women also experience a situation termed as morning sickness in which they have illness during the mornings. Though it is termed as morning sickness and it recedes during the late mornings or early afternoons among most women it may continue for the afternoons or the entire day among some women. There are usually no reasons or ways to prevent these symptoms. Pregnancy can also cause frequent urination and swelling and tenderness of breasts.
