If your doc was like mine, if there hasn't been any concerns then he wanted me to wait until I was 12 weeks along. It wasn't just my doc, my best friends doc said the same thing to her.

I would go to the doctor asap and confirm the pregnancy (the first ultra-sound is the most accurate as far as due date) the doctor will probably give you a scrip for prenatal vitamins (these are very important) and then schedule you back every 4 weeks, sooner if there is concern, and as you get closer to your due date you will see the doctor more ofter. PS- if the doc tells you to come back at 12 weeks I'd find a new doctor!!

I'm in my second pregnancy and both times once the pregnancy was confirmed the doctor told me to come back at 12wks.
I went in for my first apt at 7 weeks, and will go back every 4 weeks until the baby gets here or unless something is wrong
