This can be highly dangerous, and therefore it isn’t advised. Without intending to cause disappointment, this task will prove to be almost impossible, and definitely dangerous and painful if tried. Trying to do this, is essentially trying to lose a stone per week! Instead, why not try losing weight gradually over a longer period of time? In order to do this, healthy eating and plenty of exercise is essential. However, if you do need to lose weight quickly, perhaps for a special occasion, then you could try the following.

It has been proven that acai berries accelerate fat loss and boost energy, and are an excellent source for losing weight quickly.  You should also drink plenty of water, as most of the time when you think you feel hungry, you are just thirsty. Drinking water contains no calories, and will make you feel healthier. However, don’t substitute all meals for water, as this will lead to starvation.

Avoid alcohol, particularly lager, beer and stouts. These products do contain plenty of calories, but if there is an occasion coming up where you find alcohol will be hard to avoid, try mixing spirits with diet lemonade or cola.

Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day. By eating breakfast within an hour of waking up, you are providing your body with the fuel it needs for the day, in addition to stimulating your metabolism.

By slightly reducing your portion size of food, you are training your stomach to feel full quicker. Doing this regularly will cause your stomach to shrink, and will help you lose weight quick. However, if you eat out regularly, and so do not control the size of the portion you are given to eat, leave a bit of food on the plate.

You will loose like 5 pounds in the first few days, but after that it takes time to loose the rest.

I weigh in at about 16 stone, i am 5ft 7 in height, i want to get to about 130lbs to 140lbs which is healthy on the bmi chart, i need to get to that goal by june as i am going on holiday so i need a beach body for all the girls ahaha lol, is it possible to reach that goal in that amount of time

Person above is wrong-you definately can I have and hope to again. Have to do a lot of exersize though-about 5 or 6 hours. And preferably only 300 calories a day-very hard. I guess it depends on how fat you are in the first place-for me I've lost 5 pound in one day before- seems impossible but ive done it (no malfunctioning of scales btw) so to anser your question yes its possible but very hard. You have to be committed. Gdluck x

Well, once I lost 1 stone . I know its hard to believe ,but...I was really ill and did not eat or drink anything that week so I would advise you to just be happy with your weight of do a little bit more exercise.maybe even cut down on unhealthy or junk food

Hey, I'm 17 and I weight about 16 and a half stone... Ive never had a boyfriend but recently ive started getting on really well with one in particular.. I want to take things further but I don't want him to see my huge body, he says it doesnt matter to him but it matters to me... Any diet tips or anything to help me loose 1 and a half-2 stone in 1 month? Much appreciated

If you try to lose four stone (52 pounds) in one month, you might just lose your marbles instead.  In fact, you might lose your life!  

I recommend regular exercise, eating healthy and in lower portions, and possibly investigate Advantra-Z for fat burning.

Weight loss is not an overnight type of deal.  Train your metabolism to be higher and eat healthy foods to fuel your body.

4 stones or 56 pounds in 1 month, is not going to be a realistic goal unless you are very obese.

You would have to average about 14 pounds a week (1 stone a week).

If you've ever watched the TV show "The Biggest Loser", you'll know that it is very rare for someone to lose double digits multiple episodes in a row...it is even rarer for women to see that kind of weight loss.

Your best bet is to adopt a diet of 1,200 calories/day and to do cardio for 1 hour or more each day....

It would be grueling and if you did fall into the obese category, you might be able to lose double digits for at least 2 of the 4 weeks, but you will have your work cut out for you.

The best thing would be to set a more reasonable goal and adopt a diet and lifestyle change that is sustainable for you over the long term.

Some of you are wrong I lost 4 stone 3 pounds in one month by drinking water and having pasta with tuna, pasta with tuna and sweetcorn and pasta with tuna and red onions! And of coarse salads NO CHEESE!

You can't of possibly lost 4 stone 3 pounds in a month, its not physcially possible ESPECIALLY if your eating pasta its a CARBOHYDRATE your ment to avoid things like bread, pasta, chips, potatoes etc

Four stone means 56 pounds. There are no ways to reduce 56 pounds in one month that is almost 2 pounds in a day. Any way of losing 2 pounds weight daily will kill you. Medically, it is recommended to lose weight at the rate of one pound in one week or 4 pounds in a month. This way of weight reduction will not harm your health. This can be done by eating low fat and low calories diet and going for a brisk walk of one hour daily.

Don't eat anything except water for 1 month and run 4marathons a day except every 3rd day run 3 and a half to give yourself a break. Best of luck!
