It takes 7-10 days for implantation of fertilized egg in the uterus. If a woman has 28 days cycle, then she will ovulate and conceive on 14th day of the cycle and implantation can occur on 21-23 day of the cycle or one week before expected date of period. In case of late ovulation and conception, pregnancy test will be late positive but implantation time ca be same.
