My sister in law had an IUD. Her doctor was supposed to take it out. (She thought that she did.) She has had 2 children since then. The 1st one died when she was 7 months old. The 2nd one has got problems now he is 3 months old. They left it in her and it made it's way all the way into her stomach. When she has her tubes tied after the 2 month old they found it during surgery. So you need to watch out and be safe. It caused her to have infections all the time and hurt all the time.
