No they aren't all born that way. I had one born with blue eyes, and the other 3 were born with brown. It is however becoming more of an occurence that babies are born with blue, but it isn't standard. Some are even born with green, or hazel. Usually if a child is born with brown eyes, they stay brown, but, if a child is born with blue, they usually change, if indeed the color is going to, to another color like hazel or green, and even brown. Hope this helps, good luck.

No. Babies in certain races are born with brown eyes. The other answer mentions other colors of babies eyes like hazel and green, I have seen a strange grey brown color in some babies.

No, most of the people in my family were born with brown eyes. In my family we have brown and blue eye, even though we are mostly african american. My mother tells me I was born with green eyes, which are now brown. When I was younger they were very light, to the point of being orange in the summer, but now they are darker. My older sister was born with grey eyes, so you can be born with and not have blue eyes.

I'm British-English, and I myself was born with brown eyes which later turned blue. Although, I do have a ring of olive around the pupil (central heterochromia), which isn't uncommon for eyes with lower melanin levels (relatively paler colours such as blue, green, grey, etc). It is true that many babies are born with blue eyes, but it is not true that ALL babies are born with blue eyes, by any means.

It is very important have the right nationality to have blue eyes. When the baby develops the blue eyes inside the mother normally ask for passport, if she/he doesn't have VISA normally the baby has blue eyes.
