I think if there's only one tip I was allowed to share, I'd probably go with education.

It doesn't cost anything to read up and stay informed about your health, your diet, the importance of exercise... All this information is freely and easily available on the internet.

Obviously, the hard part is then following through on that advice and actioning change in your life - but I think the first step is always to get some sound information.

Reading about health is a great way to stay motivated and inspired too. Many fitness magazines promote the ethos of wellbeing through success stories etc... And I find it a very effective way to keep your mind focused on your overall health.

Drink plenty of water.

Not only does hydration keep your body from working well, but it also prevents you from getting ill (to an extent, obviously), helps you recover, and helps your brain to work better!

Humans assume they should only drink when thirsty but really we have to drink about 10 glasses per day at least.

Simply stated...pay attention to your body and do not ignore warning signs. Everything else will fall into place as long as you actively take care of YOUrself.

Stress kills more people than anything.  Find ways to reduce it thru proper rest, nutrition, exercise and keeping a good morale up.

Complement others and yourself more.  This alone, will generate HAPPINESS.
