If your uric acid levels are high, this can cause gout. Cherries are known to reduce levels of uric acid in your blood. You should also avoid foods high in routines like organ meats, beef, pork, venison, duck, lamb, processed meat products, seafood, and foods high in yeast. These foods you should eat in moderation: Asparagus, cauliflower, mushrooms, carrots, potatoes, peas, spinach, lentils and beans, chicken, Turkey, oats, sodas and pickles. Eat foods like pasta and rice, raw vegetables (other than those listed) and keep yourself hydrated. No alcohol! Dehydration makes uric acid difficult to flush from your body.
