I usually walk my dog for a couple of blocks. It tires she and I out and we both sleep like a baby.
For me, it's just laying on my bed and hour or so before I want to sleep and reading a good book. My mind gets into the book and I forget about anything that happened during the day or any other worries! To me, reading is the best way to relax and sleep comfortably.
I usually have a cup of sleepytime tea and read for a bit before bed. Helps me to relax. I also have a nice jersey that I spray with polo black and have it around me, it comforts me and I sleep like a baby.

I listen to audio books, usually to a story I'm already familiar with. When I was in school, many years ago, after lunch our teacher would read to us. We had an actual lunch and recess break! She would read for 20 minutes and it was ok to lay your head on your desk as you listened to the story. So, it's relaxing to me to listen to a book while I go to sleep. Reminds me of simpler times.
