I hadn't heard of it before but I looked it up and read up on it some. I've seen quite a few similar programs around that you buy books and have seminars and online help. I don't think much of those programs. The real way to quit smoking is to just think : I'm tired of this and I WANT to quit. Once you're really determined to quit, you will without all that hoopla. You have to want to quit for good to accomplish it.

I did it many years ago just cold turkey because I was just tired of it and wasting my money. I tried a few different programs and all were unsuccessful. Then I got mad and just said : I can do this ! It worked and I've been tobacco free ever since.

Yeah, but the problem is, I don't really -want- to. But I will have to, at some point. It's just that a couple of friends recommended this specific book and wanted to collect a few more opinions beforehand.

I even tried hypnosis and that didn't work. Yes, that's the problem. You have to Want to quit or you're just wasting money on these programs.
