I am allergic to aspirin, can I take seroquel?

Looks like you can but you better read this as there many side effects and drug interactions with Seroquel. If you take any other meds, you better look this over real good.

Why would you want to take an antipsychotic drug in place of aspirin?

Let us see if Stacey Brickhouse has an answer. I do not think this drug is one to fool around with.

I don't think she means instead of. I think she means if there is any relationship between an allergic reaction to aspirin and also then having an allergic reaction to Seroquel. There are very few relationships. An allergic reaction is hard to predict based on an allergic reaction to another drug. Sometimes, even if they are in the same family, e.g. MAO-inhibitors.

Always review your medications with a pharmacist, if you have any concerns.  Aspirin is an unusual allergy.  Are you sure about this?
