One time I had to call 911. The baby stopped breathing, my father revived her while I called 911. When the EMTs arrived, my dad was having a heart attack. Good timing on his part. All turned out well.
Yes
I've called the suicide hotline, but that's it.
Yes, I have.
2 weeks ago when I had anaphylactic shock.
Sorry to hear about yang, yin. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
Yes. I had a gas leak.
Dear Y&Y,
Just once...and I was REALLY impressed.
Water was pouring down off the mountain behind my house and I got scared. But then, I decided I was over-reacting and hung up.
Well it was amazing, because the 911 operator tracked me down, talked me through the situation and got someone from the county out there!

I complimented her, and she said they always did that, trained to assume an emergency and the person might be helpless.
Me, personally, I never called 911.
Yes, several times.
My friends, Yin has not disappeared off of the face of the earth. I had to call 911 Saturday night for my precious Yang because he was having chest pains. He has pneumonia and blood clots in both lungs. He is very sick but getting better. I have been at the hospital with him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you dearly everyone. See you soon. :0)
Yes I have. All outcomes were good.
Yes. There was a loose dog that was terrorizing our neighborhood. I called 911. The Police and Animal Control responded and handled it. They found the dog's owner .. Who really didn't care!! It was too much trouble to control their own dog and they just gave it up to Animal Control. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have pets.
Hi
Yin! Not for personal reasons to be frank, but I have done it a few times at
work. I used to work in a casino and some of the customers that lose a lot of
money would often collapse. I will then call 911 to get the ambulance over or
the police if necessary. It’s a pretty reliable service!
No.
Once I ended up at a party where everyone but me was spaced out of their brains on drugs. Had to wait it out until the first public transfer of the day would arrive, just a few minutes before i wanted to leave someone went into some sort of seizure of which his friends were too wasted to notice. So i had to call an ambulance and try to handle the situation.
