At night I keep hearing these high pitched humming noises within my ears. At first I thought they were coming from outside but I soon discovered that they are coming from inside my head. Does anyone have any idea why I'm hearing these noises?

Are you sure they're not Mosquitos or some type other bug? They can sound like they're in your head if buzzing near your ears.

Otherwise you may want to check with your doctor if you have a sinus infection. Those can make some weird sounds come from inside your head because we have a lot of sinus cavity in there and in you ears, and if that cavity is filled with gunk, or the pressure is not equalized, it can make some tiny sounds which are very irritating and sound loud in your head.

See your doctor and get examined.  That's the only way you're going to get the real answer to this.
