Lack of consistency seems to be the biggest problem with digital scales. Both my Health-O-Meter scales have this problem. One would have hoped that Weight Watchers would have better quality, but apparently not.
I've read that Tanita digital scales are more consistent and accurate, but haven't personally confirmed this.
For me, consistency is more important that accuracy. If the scale is a couple of pounds off, that's OK with me as long as it's consistent -- so I can keep track of my progress in losing weight
