Walruses weigh around 100 pounds at birth and are 4.5 feet long. As they grow up they get richer food in the form of their mother's milk than that which they got before birth. The mother's milk is rich in fat since the fat serves as an insulation from the cold waters in which they have to reside. It also helps the walruses to grow very quickly. The weight and length of walruses also depends on their sex. Adult male walruses weigh almost twice as much as adult female walruses do. Adult female walruses weigh around 1,900 lbs and are around 9 feet long, while adult male Walruses weigh around 2,700 lbs and are around 11 feet long.
