About 2 weeks. Maybe a little less. Depends on weather your milk comes in before or after you have your baby. Mine came in about 2 days after I had my baby and it was horrible. I found that pumping your breasts helps with pain and pressure once you get your milk in. You can go buy a manual one at walmart for like 30. Well worth it
