Yes.. Blood sugar level  increased during high fever due to activation of metabolic systems of body.However elevated sugar level during fever do not made any harmful effects

A diabetic with a fever due to an infection will most likely show an increase in his blood sugar.  Typhoid does produce a high fever, so blood sugar could be affected.

Yes it can I have hypoglycemic and that is a form of diabetes and it affects my blood sugar when I have a fever. They should see the dr. Asap
