No, you don’t need to store NyQuil in the fridge! It’s meant to be kept at room temperature, so the best place to keep it is in your medicine cabinet.

Can I Still Take NyQuil That’s Been Kept In The Refrigerator?
I’m not a doctor, but I do know that NyQuil isn’t particularly sensitive to temperature, so it should be fine.

I left a bottle out on the kitchen table last summer, and although it was warm when I took I took it that night, it didn't affect me any differently.

I think the reason you’re advised not to keep NyQuil in the fridge is because it’s prone to separate when it gets cold. Just give the bottle a good shake, and you should be fine to take it as normal.

What Temperature Am I Supposed To Keep NyQuil At?
On the instructions that come with the bottle, it says that you’re supposed to keep NyQuil at 68 to 77°F.

That’s standard room temperature - basically, just keep it out of sunlight and don’t put it in the fridge, and you’ll be fine.

NyQuil And Young Children
If you've got toddlers or young kids, I really would avoid keeping NyQuil in the refrigerator. They'll be able to reach it, and you know what kids are like - if it's in the fridge, they'll assume it's a milkshake or something!

I know the NyQuil bottles have a safety seal, but kids can be smart - it's better to keep it where they can't reach, than risk them accidentally drinking it.

No, Nyquil does NOT need to be refrigerated. It should be stored at 68-77' F or 20-25' C (room temperature). If ever in doubt of how to properly store a product, check the packaging. Most packaging will include what temperature best suits the shelf life of the product.
