After laser eye surgery the nerves in the eye are damaged and this means that the blink reflex and tear reflex does not work as well. The nerves repair themselves within approximately three months but you should use artificial tears to lubricate your eyes. Alcohol dehydrates you so it would make your eyes even drier.

Alcohol will not affect your lasik unless you fall down and hit your eye.  Take it easy for a week or so and use your drops.  Drink in moderation and you will be just fine!

You can drink anytime. Alcohol won't have any effect on lasik surgery. Unless, of course, if you expose yourself to smoky rooms when you go out drinking.

Because drinking alcohol causes fluid retention and may delay your post-op recovery
