Lasik or  laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis is an procedure to correct certain eye vision problems. Women who are planing to become pregnant in next six months, should not go for Lasik surgery. Because, hormonal changes during pregnancy can affect the cornea density and shape and can delay healing process. Sometime, another Lasik surgery is recommended after initial one if first one is not appropriate. These are reason to avoid pregnancy for 6 months after lasik surgery. This surgery does not affect natural birth.
