Its human nature for people to be reluctant to admit they have a problem of any sort which is why, the first step to recovery with any human problem is admitting that the problem exists in the first place

People like to try and be in control of their own destiny .  Often they do not like to admit they have a problem, and very often they feel that there is a stigma attached to going into therapy .
