Buy and eat fresh vegetables and fruit, and eat fish lean meat and chicken, but don't eat the chicken skin thats bad cholesterol don't use vegatable oil, use olive oil or seed oils, and stay off the junk food. Exercise is another way to help lower cholesterol, and if you smoke, stop as that is also a cause of high cholesterol. If you find that after a few months your cholesterol level has not changed, see your Doctor as you might need medication to help it.

I would search the internet for ideas on how to lower cholesterol. It is definitely a good idea to cut out dairy products such as cheese, meat and ice cream. Replace those with salads, chicken and nuts I hear are good for cholesterol.
