You will have to consult your doctor for anti-fungal medication to cure thrush. He might give you pessaries, ointments or tablets. These contain chemicals such a chlotrimazole, econazole, miconazole or fenticonazole. Thrush infections are fairly common so you could even get these from a pharmacy without prescription. Some home remedies for vaginal thrush are, inserting yogurt into the vagina, or adding bicarbonate of soda, vinegar or boric acid into the bath water before taking a bath. You should also make sure that you wash your clothes and panties with unscented detergent twenty four hours before using them. Drying them with a hot iron will also help kill the bacteria.
