I havent had a period since the 19 of january and i took 2 test today and they had a faint line. Does that mean im preg. Or not?

A missed period is a sign of pregnancy but there can be many other reasons why you may have not had your period on time. However, since you have taken a pregnancy test twice it is important to check the number of lines on your test to confirm pregnancy even if it is a faint line you still could be pregnant.

On most pregnancy tests one line shows that the test has worked properly and will always show up but if there are two lines in the box than that means you are pregnant. The diagrams below show a pregnant result and a non pregnant result to help you. If you have taken a test and are unsure it is best to visit your doctor who can confirm whether or not you are pregnant through a blood or urine test.
