Shabu is the Japanese name for methamphetamine, or as it is more commonly known, crystal meth. How long it stays in the human body is dependent upon how often the user takes the drug.
If the methamphetamine is taken once or very rarely, the drug will usually take anywhere between 2 - 5 days to leave the body.
If the person using the drug is a heavy user, it can take up to 10 days due to the levels of methamphetamine already present in the body.

This is a highly addictive drug, it's use is very rarely just recreational and many users become dependent upon it, with very negative effects upon the user, both physically and mentally.

Side effects of using this drug can include, but aren't limited to:
- Hallucinations
- Loss of appetite and lack of interest in basic human functions such as sleep and talking, leading to weight loss and paranoia
- Stroke
- Paranoia
