Will doing body weight squats every night before bed really do anything?

Squats, situps and any repetitive exercise that stimulates your cardio vascular system before bed is a good idea because it burns off the excess energy you've got in your system before it turns to fat as your body breaks it down and stores it.

You also won't be supplementing that energy with a new meal until the next morning.

Some people also report that mild exercise before bedtime helps them sleep better too, so definitely a healthy habit to get into!

As for your butt, it does work those muscles - but really the secret to a great looking booty is a combo of toning muscles that support your behind, fat distribution around your butt area, diet, and genetics.

And then some people are just blessed.

I don't think so you need to do anything else but morning exercise is very good, so try to do yoga on a regular basis.

If you're simply looking to stay in shape then yes, bodyweight squats are an effective form of exercise to perform.  The issue with bodyweight exercises is that they quickly become less challenging as your body gets used to doing them.  For a more effective workout, you should try adding weight to your exercises.  This can be done at the gym in the form of free weights and weight machines, or alternatively you can hold a weight in your hands as you perform squats at home.

The timing of your workout makes no difference to results, but working out before you sleep may provide you with a better night's rest as you will be tiring your body out.
