Yes, you can plug hydrocodone but there is little point, as it is better taken orally (according to research), and this is surely less harmful.
Plugging will mean that the chemical will not pass through the liver and in that case, it won't turn to hydromorphone.
It will work by plugging and, it may work faster. The events will not be so intense as you would get with an orally taken dose though.
All that said, please be very careful about taking these pills at all. If you build a tolerance (as you will) and take more to compensate, the result can easily be fatal.
Liver failure is also a very real concern. Permanent damage and maybe a short life are not a worthwhile payment for some time spent on a high.
