Are you dealing with some sort of long-term stressful situation in your life? If so, neck cramps (pain) are one of the many ailments that have been linked to stress. Stress has a huge impact on all aspects of our well-being—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual—so we need to know how to control it. Since stress causes physical changes in the body, it is vital to get enough rest and sleep. Sleep lets your body repair itself, restoring the balanced biochemical state. Well did Shakespeare describe it: “Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of care. The death of each day’s life, sore labour’s bath, Balm of hurt minds, great nature’s second course, Chief nourisher in life’s feast.”
So if you are a victim of stress, try getting more sleep, especially by forming a normal sleep pattern week in and week out. If you are still experiencing stress that is prolonged or severe enough to cause health problems, it may be advisable to consult a health-care professional for medical treatment.
What I use is about the size of the stick off of any bathroom
plunger or any thing around that size will work.
Place a hand on both ends of it and put it on the back of
your neck. Now useing a bit of force pull it down from your hair
line and slide it down the back of your neck. You can start at the left
and go to the right. This also works great for headaches.
The dollar store has bathroom plungers for a buck. Just use the stick
and throw away the rest.
