It's sad really. Just a few things to be diligent about. Simplicity at it's best. Yet people are faced with all these avoidable health problems.

Watch your diet! Salt (sodium) can boost blood pressure in some people, especially people with diabetes, those with severe hypertension, and older people. Here are some measures that can help you control you high blood pressure:

• Reduce body weight

• Cut salt intake

• Increase intake of potassium-rich foods

• If you drink alcohol: Reduce consumption of alcoholic drinks

• Exercise regularly

• If you smoke: Quit smoking

• Control cholesterol level

• Control diabetes

• Avoid drugs that can boost blood pressure

Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure. It can be very serious if you do not get it under control. It can however be controlled with diet and exercise. Do not be discouraged. I look forward to a promise made in the bible at Isaiah 33:24 which says: "No resident will say I am sick". Good health to you.
