All of the above. For me it is a way of disconnecting with all the stress that life throw at you and gives you a chance to catch your breath and to focus on the wonders of life.

For me the best thing about being outdoors is nature.Being able to step off of my porch, walk around my garage and follow a path out the top of the mountain and sneak up on wildlife. Whether it is white tail deer, grouse, turkey or even a box turtle burrying its eggs right on the path. I like the plant life too because the mountain laurel is just starting to blossom and the teaberries are out in full force.

Gorgeous. :) Mr. Happy and I were just talking about how wonderful it is to hear birdsong, without traffic and neighbors to interfere. Our yard gets crowded with animals!

Considering the fact that one day you will become,

part of the earth you should get as close to nature as possible.
