I'm being put to sleep (anesthesia) for dental surgery, when I wake up will I say anything stupid? Will I be unconscious and not have control of my speech??

No, your secrets are safe from the dentist. It'll be just like normal sleep, not like hypnosis when you would certainly talk.

But I wouldn't worry about it. The CIA and DHS are already scanning your brainwaves so they can read your deepest thoughts. The only defence against that is to wear a foil cap. (The lady in the picture has a rather stylish one but you can see by the fear in her eyes that she's not sure if it'll work.)

You'll be fine. Worrying is a waste of your energy and time. Talk to your dentist and parents. Be positive 😎.

I always pray daily, before, during and after all events.

You might say something stupid .. More likely funny than stupid :) just look at some YouTube vids of people after wisdom teeth removal :) it's okay to be foolish sometimes though....no worries just go with it :)

The critical 2 minutes are when you are waking up.

I was trying to explain to the nurses taking me to "recovery" that I had a puncture and needed to change the wheel on my car.

This was after a 2 hour operation under general anaesthetic, though.
