After all these Dentist visits, they told me to use a Waterpik instead of floss as it's more effective. Which do you prefer ?

I've never used a WaterPik before, but I have heard it is more effective than floss. At the moment, I use floss and a rubber gum pick/thing (don't even know what to call it, I lost the packaging, but it was given to me by my dentist). I may consider a WaterPik at some point, though, especially since I don't have the best teeth (I've had multiple fillings in the past few years).

I've never even heard of a waterpik until today, so I guess floss it is.

I had a dentist tell me about the same thing about 5-6 years ago, so I  switched. I like the water pick better. It not only gets the stuff between the teeth but cleans and massages the gums on the sides of the teeth which helps prevent gum disease. Plus there is no food particles flying around which sometimes happens with floss.

Both, treet your teeth as if they were gold.

The cost of repair not to mention the pain
